Arden received national attention when at just 6 years old she went missing because of her sleep walking. After being found the fame was too much for the girl to handle, moving several times with her mother Arden eventually changed her name to Olivia, Liv for short and started a new life. She hoped this life was far enough removed that she could be a new person completely. This seems to work because she is living a comfortable life, working at the local hospital with new friends in tow. But her sleepwalking has started again, she finds herself outside when she wakes up. She starts to have all the old fear return and the past catches up to her when the man who saved her all those years ago shows up dead at her house. This leads to everything Liv has feared, the whispers, the distrust and the people using or abusing the small bit of fame she had achieved.

Another hit from Megan Miranda, I have not been disappointed by any of her books so far. They always have enough mystery and suspense that each reveal is unexpected. It did take me a little bit to get into the book in the first place, the first quarter of the book was rather slow but I'm glad I stuck it out. The ending was unexpected and genuinely took me by surprise.
