Cade Elgin is a serious person, spending her time running her parents Art gallery in NYC. She is very good at her job with a name that is famous amongst artists everywhere. But this affects her love life and any kind of relationships she might have. She can count on her fingers how many times shes been intimate with someone and still hasn't been able to acheive the illusive "O". When she goes to her ecentric Aunt's funeral she finds out she has inherited a sex shop and her Aunts house. But this comes with stipulations, Cade has one month to save the shop and house from being sold off to cover debts. This leads Cade into the life of Selena. A sex positive artist who lived with Cade's Aunt and worked at Satisfaction Guaranteed the sex shop that was once her Aunt's. Cade Aunt was like a mother to Selena, and she is having a hard time dealing with the death. The two have to work together to save everything Cade's Aunt held dear, but they end up falling for each other as well.
I loved how sex positive, feimnist and entertaining this book was. Selena is a delight, she is a pan-sexual character who has had experience with alot of different people. She surrounds herself with a diverse friend group who are all as open and understanding as she is. Cade is a lesbian who deals with very real sexual hangups. This is an opposites-attract romance with two characters who have to work to be together. I loved the female driven take on a romance that even included a little pegging, something I haven't seen in other f/f romances. The author definitely has some growing to do but the audiobook was beautifully narrated and that earned a bump up in stars for me. It was a fun, quick read that kept you wanting more, with a little more polish Stetz-Waters will be an amazing author and I hope she makes more of these feel good f/f romances.
