Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Sam and I am a public librarian on Long Island who spends my free time reading books and drinking beer. I went to LIU Post’s Palmer School or Library Science for my masters in Library and Information Science.
I will mostly be reviewing Romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Graphic Novels. I work as both a Young Adult and an Adult patrons and read books that reflect both groups. I am a sucker for books with great covers, especially if their pastel! I’m always open to book recommendations and a beer to enjoy them with!
I will also review any beer I can get my hands on, which varies greatly. Most of the breweries I visit are located in Suffolk County. My favorite place on the island is Moustache Brewing Co. in Riverhead. They have the nicest and most knowledgeable staff and make every visit extremely interesting. However I have been going to many others that I love. I had an awesome visit to Ghost Brewing Company in Bayshore recently. Westhampton Beach Brewing Company in West Hampton Beach and Jamesport Farm Brewery in Riverhead are my other two go to’s.
