Don't Call it a Cult

A thrilling account of the multitude of horrors conceived by Keith Raniere and carried about by his willing followers in the NXIVM organization. Obviously well researched with plenty of first hand accounts this author follows the entire timeline of the organization from its founding to its downfall. Although well written it was very disjointed and hard to follow at times. People who were the focus of the narration end up disappearing and you don't hear what happened to them after their story doesn't fit the timeline the author was telling. I still believe this mentality was a cult and I don't quite understand the authors reasoning for the title, since the reasons it isn't a cult aren't actually addressed at all. If you want more information on NXIVM with plenty of inside information this would be a good book to read.
