Thalia has always been fascinated by death and works as a receptionist at a funeral home. After a near death experience she finds herself unwillingly recruited into the Euthanauts. A strange group who studies what lies after death and even willingly passing over to study it beyond the grave. Thalia is the tether to a previous Euthanaut and tries to help her with her exploration of the world beyond.
This series about death gripped me after the first issue a while back. I only just got around to finishing it. Some of the plot was underwhelming and a little bit confusing. However I think the different take on death and our experience after death was new and not something I have seen before. I really like the characters and found myself attached to Thalia and Indi, although I didn't really care about any of the other characters. I would have loved to see where this series would go next but it doesn't seem like it's receiving another volume.
