Joey is invited to spend the summer with her boyfriend Astor's family on the island of Crestfall Bluffs. A place where the rich and powerful spend there summers with expensive parties and lavish dinners. But they all hold a terrible secret, the entire group are cannibals. Joey discovers this too late, after she is already thrust into their world. After deciding to join them she realizes that no one is safe from the rich and powerful.

This was an interesting read, Joey is relatable as a character and gives us a view of this terrible world through the eyes of an outsider. I am actually super afraid of cannibals and it isn't something I would typically read, I don't know why it didn't occur to me that they would literally be eating people until it had already happened. I wasn't too bothered though because despite the amount of gore there were no actually body parts until the last issue. My only issue with this book is it tries to have a shocking "Twist" ending but in reality nothing is surprising about the ending and it was super predictable. I did read this as individual issues and I think that might be what caused some of the problem, it was a disappointing ending after so much build up month to month.
