| Feral City is a terrible place run by old gods who still have a grip on society. A good hearted father decides to do whatever he can to save his sick son and finds himself working for these gods. What follows is the love between a father and son torn apart by a drug called Bliss and the terrible things the father is willing to do for family. This powerful graphic novel deals with trauma and abuse with beautiful illustrations and a fantasy world. The characters are all somewhat redeemable and this could have had a much longer run but finished at exactly the right time. A great read for people who enjoy fantasy but are ok with violence, since it does follow a contract killer. |
